Case Study: Ecosave Energy Savings Project – Stockland
Stockland builds energy and water savings throughout Australia
Stockland is one of the top 30 ASX listed companies and one of the largest diversified Property Groups in Australia with operations in New Zealand as well as Great Britain.
Stockland’s stated aim is to integrate sustainability considerations and initiatives into everyday business, for the most efficient management of Energy and Water in their Shopping Centres. Stockland has undertaken an energy efficiency program of optimising consumption of energy and water in 28 of their existing shopping centres and commercial buildings around Australia.
Ecosave was engaged to help Stockland achieve its aim by implementing guaranteed energy and water savings projects.
After initial installations in Bathurst, Batemans Bay and Wetherill Park in New South Wales, it was decided to extend the program to a further 22 centres, and 3 commercial buildings covering a geographic spread from Perth to Cairns.
The energy and water savings solutions that have been implemented include:
- Lighting Upgrades and controls
- HVAC and BMS optimisations
- CO and CO2 monitoring and controls
- Variable Speed Drives
- Water fixtures upgrades
- Water leak detection and elimination
- Ongoing building monitoring and metering
Your team has been enormously patient as we have had numerous site changes. The focus has been on schedules, working with FVAC contractors, and trending BMS issues (a service not provided by other metering providers.) We are starting to see some excellent outcomes and look forward to working together on this.
